The GCR double and single sided hollow wall system is completely flush and smooth without any protrusions, grooves or cavities. The used materials are incombustible and the walls have a standard fireproof rating of more than 30 minutes. In case of higher fire-resistant requirements, the walls can be filled with fireproof Rockwool.
Wal panel sizes
Standard thickness of the hollow walls are 50/100/200 and 250 mm. Other thicknesses are available on request. Individual panels can be produced up to a panel height of maximum 4500 mm and a width of 1200 mm. For wall structures higher than 4500 mm, panels will be stacked up each other to maximum 20 m by using extra galvanized steel profiles, to ensure stability.
Wall panels
The wall panels consists of stainless steel 304/316, or pre-coated galvanized steel with a modified silicone polyester coating, thickness 0.6 mm with a plasterboard or honeycomb backing, thickness 12 mm, this to ensure stability and flatness. The surface of the wall panels are protected with a plastic foil to avoid damaging during production, transport and installation.
Mechanical stability
The mechanical stability of the walls meets the requirements of DIN 4103, with one-sided loads bigger than 30 kg per linear meter wall, extra reinforcement needs to be integrated in the wall (think of wash basins, equipment, cabinets, etc.) At pressure differences of 100 Pa extra reinforcements might be needed, depending on total wall structure.
Installation
Wall panels are individually installed from both sides clicked into aluminum or galvanized steel profiles. All the wall panels are individually removable and replaceable.
FDA sealant
All the panel seams are finished with FDA approved Dow Corning (Dowsil) 798, white color.
